Meadow Rd Update
The temporary road closure of Meadow rd will not reopen today.  Meadow Drive will reopen next Tuesday, May 3rd
Testing Season has Arrived
We will have several different tests administered over the remaining weeks (SLO, AP, EOC, Senior Exams and Finals) and it will impact our schedule on different days.
April 28th will be our LAST AO. There will be no AO's in May due to testing.
April 27 will be the last WEDNESDAY X-Block. Wednesday May 4th will be full day and Friday May 6th will be last x-Block day. No x-block May 11 and 18

TICKET INFO-Each senior will receive six (6) guest tickets at practice on Monday, May 23rd 2016 , Additional guest ticket requests are closed. Replies to requests will be made starting April 18th.

Pope Counselors Honored
Pope High School will receive the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation during a special ceremony at the American School Counselor Association’s annual conference on July 11 in New Orleans, La. April 29-30 at 7:30pm in the Pope Theater. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5/student and $10/adult; children under 4 are free.
The school year would not be complete without a final performance to top all performances – “Xplosion” by the Pope High School Band! A synergetic show of music, dance, marching and color guard will amaze audiences on Thursday and Friday, May 5th and 6th, at 7 pm, in the Pope High School Theater. Pizza and concessions will be sold before the show and during intermission. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 general admission and $15 VIP seating, and are available at www.PopeBand.com. A “50/50” raffle will also be offered to support the Band’s fall invitational to Hawaii. Xplosion is a show like no other in the area and great fun for the whole family! These shows do sell out, so order your tickets today!

wywystrong 5k run/walk

WyWy Strong 5k at Mt. Bethel UMC May 21. Wyatt Benton Pope is a seven year old first grader at Mountain Park Elementary battling a rare form of cancer.

Summer School Information
Pope will be offering summer school for credit recovery at our school 6/1-6/30, and for initial credit for health and fitness only on Lassiter’s campus same dates, Mon-Thurs.  Registration from April 25 – May 31 in Pope Counseling office.  Cobb Virtual Academy and Georgia Virtual School offer online summer classes for initial credit.  See the Pope counseling blog for details of all summer options.
