Georgia Parent Survey – Please take
time to complete the climate survey. CCRPI is a comprehensive
school improvement, accountability, and communication platform
for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and
career readiness for all Georgia public school students. It is
the score that all schools earn yearly (replaced AYP, Adequate
Yearly Progress). The survey is one factor is developing the
rating for our school.
Data from the Georgia Student Health Survey 2.0, the Georgia
School Personnel Survey and the Georgia Parent Survey along
with other sources will be used in the calculation of a School
Climate Star Rating which is a diagnostic tool within the
The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student
survey and contains 24 questions. A Spanish version of the
parent survey will be available soon. Parents, you can complete
the survey using your personal computers, smartphones or iPads.
All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent
Survey because the data will be used to calculate the School
Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are
anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia
Department of Education for analysis. Data results from the
Georgia Parent Survey will not be available to the public and
will not be posted online.

2015-16 School Choice
The Cobb County School District is again
offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the
2015-2016 school year. Individual school capacity
information and applications will be available beginning
February 1, 2015 on the District website. For more
information, please see our
2015-16 School Choice webpage.
The North Cobb Drama Club will be performing
Boy Meets Girl: A Young Love Story, a short comedy on January
28th, 29th and 30th at 7:00 p.m and on January 31st at 1:00 p.m.
in the Black Box Theater. Tickets are $3 at the door.
Community Service Hours Available
Sign up to join the team helping to build a
Habitat for Humanity home. Hours are available every Saturday
from January 24th – February 28th from 8-4. North Cobb HS
construction will be helping on February 7th and 28th.

Last night your Warrior Swim and Dive team
made one more state cut as Tyler Clark scored a 286 in his quest
to make it to the Diving State Championship. That brings
the total number of qualifiers to 10 as they'll compete next
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Georgia Tech.
The 9th Grade Boys Basketball team defeated
McEachern last night at McEachern to run their record to 13-1.
The Warriors have one game remaining this Saturday at

The health and safety of our students and
school staffs is our highest priority. National and
international health authorities are currently working to manage
an ongoing outbreak of the Ebola virus disease in several
countries in West Africa. The Cobb County School District has
released an update to the Enrollment Protocol as well a letter
