Friday, October 21st
The last regular season Varsity Football game is on Friday,
October 21st at 7:30 p.m. vs. the Marietta Blue Devils.
It is Senior Night on Friday night and members of the Varsity
Football Team, Cheerleading Squad, Marching Band and NJROTC will be
recognized during pregame.

There will be interactive activities and opportunities for Q&A!
This session is targeted to freshmen and sophomore students and
their parents, but all are welcome!
Winter College Tour
The Counselors are offering a Winter College Tour, January 18-21,
2017. The tour will visit Young Harris, University of North
GA, UGA, Georgia College (Milledgeville), Valdosta State, University
of Florida, and College of Coastal GA. This tour is
all-inclusive and includes charter bus transportation, hotels, and
meals. The trip is open to sophomores and juniors.
Registration packets can be downloaded

the Counseling Office. The deadline to register is October 28th. A $65 deposit and completed packet are due at the time
of registration. Please note that one of the forms requires a
notary and we have notaries located in the Counseling Office for
your convenience. If you have questions regarding the tour,

North Cobb will be offering the ASVAB on October 27th. The
ASVAB is the entrance exam to the military; however, students who
are not interested in going into the military should consider taking
the ASVAB. It is one of the best career interest tests
available. The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that
measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and
occupational success in the military. It is a free test given at
school. This test has assisted many students figure out a

University of Kentucky Trip For
Juniors and Seniors
The University of Kentucky is offering a trip to campus on
Wednesday, November 2, 2016. This is a recruitment trip for
the university and they are paying for the bus and lunch while on
campus. Students who go on the trip will have their
application fee waived when they apply to the university. The
cost of the trip is $20 and this will pay for dinner on the way
home. Permission forms are available in the Counseling Office.
The $20 fee is due at the time of registration for the trip.
In the past, students who have gone on this trip and applied to The
University of Kentucky have not only been admitted, but have
received nice scholarship packages. This trip is open to
Juniors and Seniors.

Announcement from the Attendance
Use the Athletic Registration to submit the required consent,
insurance, and medical information for your student’s athletic
registration. Students must be in grades eight through twelve to
register for athletics.
Accessing the Student Athletic Registration
To access the Athletic Registration Application, log into your
ParentVUE account. Click on the link to ParentVUE on the North Cobb
website. Mouse over Parents and click either Grades & Attendance or
ParentVUE Login Page.
If you do not have a ParentVUE account or are unable to
access your account after attempting to use the Forgot Password
link, please contact the ParentVUE coordinator at North Cobb High (Jennifer
