All CCSD schools will be closed February 20-24 for the February Break.
All District Offices will be closed on Monday the 20th for
Presidents' Day and will re-open Tuesday. All students and teachers
will report back to school on Monday, February 27th.
North Cobb High School's Advanced Placement Exam Registration
Students taking AP exams at North Cobb High School must
register for exams here by 11:59 pm, March 1, 2017. For the 2017
AP Exams, the cost is $93 per exam. There is a one-time
registration fee of $20 per student registering for any AP
Students must answer all of the questions on the following
pages in order to complete the exam registration. A confirmation
page indicates that the exam registration process has been

registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card
available before beginning registration.
Registrations that are not paid by 11:59 PM, Saturday, Mar 4,
2017 will be cancelled and exams will not be ordered.

If you receive Free or Reduced lunch you must have a
Release of Information on file with Mrs. Ellis to receive
the benefits for AP exams. Please pick up a form in Admin1 and
return to Mrs. Ellis as soon as possible. You can email

and SAT prep classes – all-inclusive price of $399 which includes
registration and course materials, register at

Students can pick up a free ACT booklet in the Counseling Office,
www.khanacademy.org for free online SAT practice, or utilize
www.kaptest.com/ACT for free online ACT practice.

Parent Night for Grades 10-12
Please join us for our 10th– 12th Grade Parent Night on
Thursday, March 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center.
We will cover a variety of topics including: SPLOST, Scheduling,
Being a Connected Parent, and Testing.
Parking will be available in the Upper Lot off of Nowlin Road.
North Cobb High School After School targeted remediation will
begin Tuesday March 7th and it will run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
from 3:45-4:45 p.m. through May 18th. It is offered for
ALL CORE CONTENTclasses.

School Choice (HB 251 and SB 10) transfers for the 2017-2018 school
year. Individual school capacity information and applications will
be available beginning February 1, 2017 on the District website. For

Only students with a current semester parking permit are
allowed to park in the lower lot ONLY. Due to construction, we will no longer be selling student
parking permits for Spring Semester 2017.

The North Cobb High School 2017 Junior/Senior Prom will be held
on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 6-10 p.m. at the Atlanta Event
Center at Opera. Tickets are required to attend. Tickets are
available for purchase by NCHS juniors & seniors.
Prom tickets will be sold:
Before school from 7:45-8:15 a.m. in the Media Center on
Wednesday March 1, 8, & 15 for $65
During all lunches in the Main Cafeteria on Thursday March 16 &
Friday March 17 for $65
During all lunches in the Main Cafeteria on Tuesday March 21 &
Wednesday March 22 for $75
During all lunches in the Main Cafeteria on Thursday March 23 for
No tickets will be sold on Friday March 24.
Discounted parking passes are available for purchase for $10 when
tickets are sold. No parking passes are required for buses,
limousines, or students being dropped off at the Prom.

Georgia Parent Surveys
The Georgia Parent Survey can be accessed by use of personal
computer, smartphone, or tablet. For parents with no or limited
Internet, please contact the school Media Specialist. Participation
is encouraged to help provide guidance in making school-wide
decisions and calculation the School Climate Star Rating. Survey
responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the
Georgia Department of Education for analysis.

Announcement from the Attendance
Use the Athletic Registration to submit the required consent,
insurance, and medical information for your student’s athletic
registration. Students must be in grades eight through twelve to
register for athletics.
Accessing the Student Athletic Registration
To access the Athletic Registration Application, log into your
ParentVUE account. Click on the link to ParentVUE on the North Cobb
website. Mouse over Parents and click either Grades & Attendance or
ParentVUE Login Page.
If you do not have a ParentVUE account or are unable to
access your account after attempting to use the Forgot Password
link, please contact the ParentVUE coordinator at North Cobb High (Jacqueline

To avoid any confusion in the announcement process, we have
created an online form to centralize the system.
Please submit all of your pertinent information.
