2)
to be
a positive and active role-model for students at their school.

Parents,
When we have inclement weather issues, please know that
decisions regarding early dismissal are posted on the Cobb
County website, on WSB TV, and radio AM 750. Although
teachers have called in the past, teachers will not
be calling to inform you of early releases in the future. We
will be using the inclement weather forms filled out at the
beginning of the year and our standard dismissal procedures.
If you need to make a change as to how your child should go
home in case of any other inclement weather issues, please
submit a note to your child's teacher. The After School
Program, After School Activities, and Boys' and Girls' Club
will always be closed when Cobb County Schools close early
due to weather. Remember our standard dismissal procedures
to ensure student safety are as follows:
* Transportation changes cannot be accepted over the
phone
* We cannot dismiss students to people who are not on the
registration card
* The person picking up in carpool will need a Mableton
carpool tag. If they do not have one they will need to come
into the office and show ID
* When picking up students from the office, be prepared
to show ID
You can add people to your registration card by stopping
in office or sending in a note regarding the changes.
When there is the possibility of inclement weather,
please make an effort to listen to the stations listed
above. During this time ALL staff is needed
to ensure student safety by checking ID's, calling rooms,
and helping with the dismissal.
As always, thank you for supporting Mableton! |
