Our
Mission The
Dickerson Middle School faculty and staff, together with our parents and
community members, strive to build on Dickerson's tradition of academic
excellence by creating a positive learning atmosphere that challenges
every student to prepare for his or her future. Within a safe and
secure environment, students will maximize their learning potential,
practice civic awareness, and achieve the self-confidence that will
empower them to succeed.

The Governor's Office of Student Achievement recognized
Dickerson as a winner of the
2011 Single Statewide Accountability System, Platinum Award for
outstanding student achievement. This is the second year in a row
Dickerson has won this award.
