District Seeks PTA Representatives
To Serve On 2012 Calendar Committee
The Cobb County School District seeks two representatives from each of Cobb's four PTA councils to serve on the 2012 Calendar Committee. This
group of teachers, community representatives and District administrators will meet 3-5 times this fall to help develop recommendations for the
2013-2014 school year calendar.
You must be a current PTA member at a school in one of the four Cobb County PTA councils to apply; membership will be verified.
To apply, please download and complete the appropriate application form for your PTA council and submit to Georgia PTA 9th district director Lori
Sweet (see instructions on the application form).
East Cobb Council
Jessye Coleman Council
South Cobb Council
Tom Mathis, Sr. Council

Representatives chosen will be contacted by May 1, 2012. The Calendar Committee will be publically announced in May 2012, will begin work August
2012, and will meet 3 to 5 times. Recommendations will be made by the committee to the Superintendent in September 2012.
